I work in a variety of styles from realistism to fantasy to abstract, using
a wide range of media, including acrylic, oil, pencil, ink, chalk, and digital.
I can bring your artistic ideas and visions to reality, whether in
your home or business.
Brief Bio. I studied at the Cleveland Museum of Art and College of Wooster
in Ohio, but am largely a self taught artist. Since I was a few years old I would
draw and paint for hours, using my bedroom floor as my easel. My favorite
subjects were animals and prehistoric life, which has continued into adulthood.
Howevr, I am comfortable with a wide variety of subjects and techniques. I do
not currently have original artwork for sale, but will produce almost any kind of
custom artwork.
FAQS
How much will it cost?
Generally my work is quoted by the project rather than by the hour.
The price varies and depends on size, location, media/technique and
complexity.
How do I commission an artwork?
The process starts by contacting me by email or phone, outlining your idea or project.
My phone is 440-241-2509. My email address is gkpaleo@yahoo.com. Aspects to discuss
include preferred size/format, medium, style, and timeframe for completion. For portraits, whether human or
animal, I prefer to work from photographs. However, I can alter colors, backgrounds, lighting,
poses, etc. to your taste. Once we reach an understanding on what you'd like done, we can discuss
costs. In cases of a mural or large work, I'll normally create a preliminary sketch or design, and upon
your approval, we'll sign a plain-English agreement on the agreed-upon terms. Normally I will require
a portion of the cost as a deposit. If the work is done off-site, I will email an image of the final
artwork for your approval before delivery.
How long will a mural take to complete?
An average size mural (8' x 10') may take 1 to 3 days depending on
complexity and location. Large or intricate works may take several days
or longer. A 25% deposit will normally be required before the project
is started, upon approval of the prelimnary design.
What forms of payment do you take?
I accept cash, check, money orders, or PayPal. I can accept
credit cards through PayPal even if you do not have a
PayPal account.
