The following museum-quality casts feature a variety of well-preserved and historically important dinosaur and pre-dinosaur footprints. Each replica is carefully cast in high-strength gypsum cement from molds of the original tracks, and meticulously hand painted to replicate a natural appearance. Each comes with a hanger on the back and full identification label. Will ship anywhere in the U.S. for actual ship costs. Discounts for educational and non-profit organizations. The maker of these ancient tracks was probably a large herbivorous amphibian of the family Diadectidae. Included are both
front and rear footprints, which are so well preserved some toes even show tiny claw marks. The original tracks showed positive
(raised) relief in the original (as in the cast at the left top), representing sediment that filed in the original track depressions.
However, the relief has been refersed with a molding technique, so that the indented version (bottom left) is also available.
